POSITION TITLE: Analytics Specialist

WORK SETUP: Return to Office

OVERALL PURPOSE:

We are seeking an experienced Responsible AI Prompt Specialist to join our consulting team focused on responsible AI. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating prompts to interrogate large language models, evaluating their responses, and contributing to the development of a baseline understanding of responsible AI issues for generative AI. This role requires a strong background in Responsible AI governance, policy, and consulting work, as well as expertise in jailbreaking large language models and project management skills.

RAI practitioners serve as an important line of defense by systematically testing, evaluating and challenging AI systems to improve the integrity, quality, and safety of AI generated content. You will deliver value to our clients, while making a larger impact on society.

This is meaningful work but may be challenging at times. In this role, practitioners proactively expose AI systems to adversarial scenarios, which may involve engaging with objectionable and sensitive content (e.g., graphic, violent, or sexual). This may be stressful for individuals; therefore, RAI practitioners need robust resilience and coping skills. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and manage a team of AI engineers and data scientists to develop and deploy AI solutions.

Design, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms using Python.

Utilize AWS services to build scalable and efficient AI infrastructure.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Ensure the team follows best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.

Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.

Mentor and guide team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Develop and execute prompt strategies to interrogate large language models on various topics related to responsible AI, including medical advice, legal advice, and other sensitive areas.

Analyze the model's responses for appropriateness, inappropriateness, refusal to answer, or appending disclaimers to the response according to client definitions and guidance.

Collaborate with other team members to create a comprehensive understanding of responsible AI issues based on a model's responses.

Contribute to the development of best practices and guidelines for responsible AI governance and policy.

Manage projects related to responsible AI, including setting goals, defining timelines, and ensuring project deliverables are met.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, identified generative AI shortcomings and advancements in Responsible AI governance, policy, and consulting work.

Participate in team meetings, provide feedback, and contribute to the overall success of the consulting team.

SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have at least 5 years of experience in Analytics

Must have experience in Python programming and AWS services

Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and techniques

Experience with AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Lambda or similar

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or English.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Responsible AI governance, policy, and consulting work.

Demonstrated ability to jailbreak large language models and create effective prompts for interrogation.

Strong organizational skills and project management experience.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, as well as experience working with large datasets.

Familiarity with responsible AI issues, including privacy, security, and ethics.
