Job Description

Responsible in ensuring the data used is accurate, meets quality standards, moves through technology systems as it should and is used as intended. This role organizes and operates the company’s enterprise metadata repository. Collects company technical terms and translate them into enterprise-level metadata. Responsible for the development and implementation of processes to manage enterprise-level technical metadata as well as the content and usage of the business metadata.

• Focus on the data quality and accuracy, ensuring it adheres to business rules, requirements, and governance standards
• Defines “what” the data should be (standards and quality metrics)
• Monitor data quality issues and resolve discrepancies
• Collaborate with data owners to define data usage policies
• Train users on proper data handling practices
• Skills: Strong understanding of business processes, data domain expertise, and communication skills
