We have an exciting opportunity to join the Geospatial Solutions team as a Data Solutions Specialist who can take on the role of dashboard planning, development, design, and administration - and help elevate the organization to the next level when it comes to data-driven solutions and decision making. Applicants must have extensive experience and sound understanding of what goes into building PowerBI dashboards and if possible, other platforms like Tableau, RShiny, and ArcGIS Operations Dashboard products.
The successful applicant will be involved in all stages of PowerBI dashboard creation from planning and crafting efficient data pipeline solutions to collaborating and building relationships with stakeholders - so a strong background in data science, IT/digital technology, business analytics, visualization & design, stakeholder engagement, and some project management is the ideal skill combination we are looking for.

Here's what you'll need
- 3-6 Years Experience in high- quality PowerBI dashboard development data planning, management, validation, analysis, and visualization
- Proficiency in DAX, R, and M (Power Query) for data transformation
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Macros/VBA
- Experience in the use of Python (particularly graphing libraries)
- Knowledge of and optimization of data architecture and design (Relational database management system)
- Experience with ETL/ELT workflows from a wide array of data sources
- Experience with FME Form & Flow is preferred
- Able to customize or work with advanced PowerBI widgets
- Able to devise, plan, and execute data QA/QC test plans and provide expert-level troubleshooting / support for PowerBI solutions
- A keen eye for UX design principles Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Experience with business requirements analysis
- Preferably has Broader data visualisation experience using R Shiny, Plotly, Tableau, ArcGIS Operations Dashboards, Icon Map, MapBox, Experience with Agile methodologies, Cloud Technologies such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
