Responsibilities
- Monitor updates with NPC issuances and data privacy regulations and assist the Data Privacy Office to comply with data privacy laws and NPC regulations.
- Assist the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in the maintaining the records of data processing activities of the organization
- Work closely with the DPO in updating and verifying incidents or data breaches.
- Provide training and awareness campaigns on data privacy across the organization.
- Support the DPO in its data privacy compliance initiatives.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in internal compliance , regulatory compliance , or data privacy operations.
- Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Philippines) and National Privacy Commission (NPC) advisories.
- Exposure to ISO standards related to information security, business continuity, and quality management.
- Experience in document control, compliance reporting, and risk assessment.
- Good coordination and communication skills, especially in cross-functional teams.
- Training:
- Training or certification in data privacy , information security , or compliance auditing is a plus.
