Job Description

Are you ready to leverage data to drive strategic insights and business growth?

In this role, you will be part of the design, implementation, and management of data strategies that will help Globe achieve a more data centric landscape. Your focus will be on optimizing data ecosystems, ensuring effective data governance, maintaining data quality and unlocking the full potential of our data assets to support innovation and decision-making.This role will entail the management of demand-capacity data for purposes of geospatial analysis, forecasting, and financial modelling as a guide to business planning and technical solutioning

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Data pipelines and ETL processes using various big data technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, network engineering, operations) to gather requirements and deliver innovative datasolutions.
• Design and develop integrations between different data sources and data stores (e.g., APIs, databases or streaming platforms) for data captureand transfers
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development and the telecommunications industry.
• Contribute to the development of software architecture and design patterns.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in Data Engineering (Lead)
• Strong experience with working on different ETL tools, databases, cloud deployments, streaming platforms, CI/CD automation
• Has experience on Java, NodeJS, Python, Git, JFrog
• Experience working with Data Platform/s (e.g., Kafka, Datalake, Datawarehouse).
• Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus.
• Experience with DQ tools is a plus.
