About The Role

We are seeking an experienced DATA ENGINEER to join our team on a 6- month contract basis.

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and datasets to support data-driven decisions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions, improve data quality, and ensure that data flows smoothly across systems. The Data Engineer will also be tasked with troubleshooting data-related issues and improving data processes.

This is dayshift and on-site position (4x a week on-site, once a week remote), with the opportunity to work from our client's office in MOA, Pasay City

What We're Looking For

 Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or related quantitative field.

 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineer or Data Operations role.

 Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g. Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases

 Hands-on experience building and optimizing data pipelines, data workflows and data architectures.

 Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, particularly AWS services such as Redshift, EC2, RDS, and S3.

 Familiarity with data integration tools such as AWS Glue, Informatica, and Talend.

 Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, etc. for data engineering tasks.

 Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.

 Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex data sets.

 Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.

 Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

 Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently and in teams.

 Strong focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement of data processes

 Willing to work onsite (4x a week onsite, once a week remote) from our client's office in Pasay on a day shift under an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of an extension.

 Willing to start work immediately.
