Cyber Security and Systems Admin (AU Retail, Office-based/Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• 5+ years’ experience working in an enterprise IT environment
• Experience managing and using SIEM Tools, Firewalls Rulesets, Endpoint Protection Policies, Mail Filtering Systems, DNS Proxy Filtering Systems and NAC tools
• Experience developing policies, procedures, baselines, guidelines and technical security documentation as part of the implementation, maintenance and review of security solutions.
• Well-rounded experience with Windows endpoints/servers administration, Active Directory, network administration (switching, routing concepts), Azure (cloud computing and networking)/O365/Exchange Online experience. Knowledge of Cisco & HPE/Aruba Networking equipment and configuration.
• Able to assess a system and its integrating/exposed features and research/apply technical and process-based security controls; understand zero-trust, RBAC and principle of least-privilege.

Nice to Have:

• Experience configuring IDS/IPS, SD-WAN, CASB/SASE Products, and general experience with Enterprise Networking. Desired experience with Sophos Firewalls, Aruba Switching/SD-WAN, Crowdstrike, Mimecast, Netskope, Tenable.
• Linux, Citrix NetScaler and Dynamics365, SCCM, Windows Failover Clustering, SAN solutions and Exchange on-premises.
• Experience with the PCI-DSS Framework, completing IT Audits and a strong understanding of modern security solutions.

What will you do?

• Assist in maintaining a secure Standard Operating Environment across all corporate devices/services/networks, ensuring that deployments of assets are consistent and documented.
• Be a point of escalation for Level 1 / 2 staff for service related incidents including training of junior staff to increase their knowledge.
• Swift response to incidents raised through the IT Service Desk and escalated to the security or System Admin team.
• Assist with the monitoring of network, system, application, and data security, and respond to discovered issues.
• Assist with risk management; identify, assess, and prioritise security risks and vulnerabilities, and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Assist in the maintenance of the backup/DR program and policies to ensure we maintain a highly resilient backup plan.
• Engage in vulnerability and patching programs to ensure systems are updated and protected
• Assess the privacy implications of vendors and systems, and provide recommendations and expertise in ensuring you meets its privacy obligations.
• Perform the deployment, integration, and initial configuration of all new security solutions and any enhancements to existing security solutions in accordance with standard best operating procedures generically, and the enterprise’s security documents specifically; including, but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
• Maintain compliance with necessary regulatory frameworks and assist with implementing procedures to ensure ongoing compliance is maintained. Working with the wider-business to successfully complete IT/Security audits.
