Key Responsibilities
- Order Processing
- Accurately enter customer purchase orders into the ERP system.
- Review orders for completeness, pricing accuracy, lead times, and shipping instructions.
- Monitor open orders to ensure timely fulfillment and communicate updates to customers.
- Customer Service
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or online portals.
- Provide product information, pricing, and order status updates.
- Resolve customer issues such as backorders, shipping delays, or product discrepancies in a professional manner.
- Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order flow.
- Communicate proactively with customers about delays, substitutions, or required clarifications.
- Support account managers with order-related questions and documentation.
- Documentation & Accuracy
- Maintain complete and accurate customer records in the ERP
- Generate and distribute order confirmations, invoices, and shipping documentation.
- Completing other oddball system tasks as needed related to the process
Non-negotiables
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service or order entry.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to handle phone calls and respond to emails professionally.
