Job Summary: The Credit Risk Specialist is a Key Role within the Credit Risk Team, which rolls up to Merchant Risk Operations and is Responsible for Ensuring that Credit Risk(s) are Effectively Managed. You will Help Identify, Investigate, Assess, and Report on Credit Risk Matter(s) Making Sure that it Complies with Merchant Underwriting Policies and Procedure(s). You will be Handling Daily Operations Covering the Review(s) and Assessment(s) of the Credit worthiness and Credit Risk Profile of New and Existing Merchant(s). You will Collaborate with the Sales Team to Ensure that End-to-End Onboarding Process of Customer(s) is Optimized while also Managing Credit Risk(s) within Acceptable Level(s).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be a Subject Matter Expert on Merchant Underwriting Policies and Procedure(s), Identify, Investigate, Assess, and Report on Credit Risk Matter(s) Making Sure that it Complies with Merchant Underwriting Policies and Procedure(s), Determine the Credit worthiness and Credit Risk Profile of New and Existing Merchant(s) thereby Preventing the Company from Financial Loss, Handle Daily Operations in Accordance with Organizational Policies and Procedure(s) within an Agreed SLA, Perform Periodic Review(s) on Existing Merchant(s) to Ensure there is No Change with their Credit Risk Exposure
• Assure the Completeness and Correctness of the Client Documentation as well as Preparation for Review by Various Domestic and International Credit Risk Committee(s) - Present Assessment Recommendation(s) to the Relevant Committee(s), Provide Support and Guidance as Required by the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Team on Credit Risk Including Financial Analysis
• Support the Head of Credit Risk in Ensuring that all Credit Risk System(s), Processes and Procedural Level Documentation(s) are Created and Maintained, Support the Head of Credit Risk in Ensuring that all Credit Risk System(s), Processes and Procedure(s) are Continuously Reviewed and Optimized, Build the Organizational Awareness in terms of Credit and Wider Risk Management, Work Collaboratively with the Sales Organization to Ensure that the End-to-End Onboarding Process of Customer(s) are Optimized while Managing Credit Risk(s) within Acceptable Level(s)

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Other Equivalent Field(s) - 5+ Year(s) Experience within the Credit Risk Environment with 3+ Year(s) in Payment(s) or Technology Driven Organization, Experience in a Merchant Acquiring Organization
• Excellent Knowledge of Financial Statement Assessment Including Ratio Analysis, Some Knowledge of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Fraud Risk within a Merchant Acquiring Context would be Beneficial, Advanced Knowledge of Office Product(s) Including PowerPoint and Excel, Commercial Awareness and Industry Knowledge, Communication and Presentation Skills
• Multi-Cultural and Flexible Mindset with the Ability to Multi-Task and Work in an International Environment, Planning and Organizational Skills, Influencing and Negotiation Skills, Result(s) Driven and Ability to Work Under Pressure
