Corporate Partnerships and Sponsorship Lead

The Corporate Partnerships and Sponsorship Lead will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing strategic partnerships and sponsorships to support the organization's mission and key initiatives. This role involves identifying potential corporate partners, negotiating sponsorship agreements, and securing funding for various programs, including patient transportation support. Additionally, the position focuses on raising awareness for the hospital’s services, fostering long-term relationships, and ensuring successful outcomes through formal agreements such as Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs).
This position will collaborate with the Communications and Marketing team for the materials required in the presentation and reports to partners and donors. Additionally, it will coordinate with the Finance Department for the tax exemptions of partners and donors, as well as the reporting of any monetary and in-kind donations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partnership Development & Sponsorship Acquisition:
- Identify, target, and establish partnerships with key corporations, foundations, and organizations to secure sponsorships and funding.
- Engage with corporations willing to allocate their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) budgets to support the hospital’s key programs.
- Negotiate and structure mutually beneficial sponsorship agreements to support hospital initiatives, including patient assistance, healthcare programs, and transportation needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling sponsorship proposals and activation plans.
- Organize events for donors such as hospital tours, thanksgiving, etc. as requested by the Executive Director
- Prepare the annual budget for the department.
- Agreement Negotiation & Execution:
- Lead the negotiation and formalization of partnership agreements, ensuring the alignment of objectives, expectations, and commitments from CURE and partners.
- Draft and finalize Memorandums of Agreement (MOA) to formalize sponsorship and partnership deals, ensuring clarity and compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Oversee the implementation and follow-through of partnership terms to ensure successful partnership execution.
- Fundraising & Awareness Building:
- Lead fundraising efforts by identifying new and creative ways to secure sponsorships and financial support including but not limited to patient transportation needs.
- Develop and execute awareness campaigns to promote CURE’s mission, services, and transportation-related initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to ensure consistent messaging, branding, and visibility for the hospital and its partners.
- Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
- Provide regular reports to the Executive Director on partnership progress, sponsorship acquisition, and fundraising outcomes.
- Track the effectiveness of sponsorship programs and partnerships, ensuring partners’ commitments are fulfilled and provide feedback on performance.
- Develop the report for partners and donors (e.g. Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually as required and agreed).
- Assist in the Annual Report preparation, production, and distribution.
- Manage the distribution of in-kind donations (e.g. toys, books, bibles, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with all reporting, regulatory, and internal monitoring requirements for sponsorship and partnership agreements.
- Work with the Finance Department to ensure accurate reporting of monetary and in-kind donations and coordinate tax exemption processes for partners and donors.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with transportation partners, corporate sponsors, and key stakeholders to ensure continued support for hospital initiatives.
- Engage with influential individuals, organizations, and corporations to expand the hospital’s network and explore additional partnership opportunities.
- Serve as the primary liaison between TCCH and its corporate sponsors, ensuring smooth and effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage Donor Care - Tokens, Gifts visits, etc.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with transportation partners, corporate
OTHER DUTIES
- Uphold the highest standards of quality and efficiency in line with hospital quality programs (e.g. Safecare, DOH, etc.) requirements.
- Ensure a safe and secure work environment by strictly adhering to infection prevention and control protocols such as but not limited to handwashing, wearing of PPE, etc.
- Commit to sustainable and eco-friendly work practices by minimizing waste, optimizing resource usage and actively participating in initiatives that promote environmental stewardship.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Education Required: Graduate of any bachelor’s degree, preferably a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in corporate partnerships, sponsorship acquisition, or business development, ideally within the non-profit or healthcare sector.
- Strong network of corporate contacts, transportation companies, and influencers within the Philippines and the broader business community.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- In-depth understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and their application in non-profit initiatives.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Goal-oriented, driven, and capable of working under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
- A valid driver’s license and a solid understanding of the transportation landscape across the Philippines are an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Google Drive/Google docs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- A deep understanding of the Philippine transportation industry and available partnership opportunities.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing formal agreements (e.g., MOAs, contracts).
- Strategic thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage and evaluate sponsorship programs and relationships effectively.
- Strong presentation and communication skills to engage with senior decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Performs as a team player and is comfortable in an ecumenical environment.
- Occasional flexibility to work longer hours, evenings, and weekends as needed.
