What you'll do:
As a Contracts Manager, your role will be pivotal in managing all contract-related activities within the organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing the contract management system, conducting regular due diligence, and ensuring that all contracts uphold the group's legal rights. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be crucial in reviewing, editing, or drafting various contractual documents. Furthermore, your keen eye for detail will ensure that all contracts comply with new relevant rules and regulations.
- Administer and maintain the contract management system, including uploading standard templates and conducting training sessions for users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and prepare various contractual documents aligned with business goals.
- Conduct periodic due diligence to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all contract entries and related documentation.
- Develop and implement efficient procedures for contract lifecycle management to support the global shipping business.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including Commercial Contracts, NDAs, PPPs, and B2B agreements.
- Ensure all contracts comply with the latest legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining alignment with industry standards.
- Provide proactive and timely advice on complex contractual matters to internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the central communicator for all contract-related information across teams and stakeholders.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Contracts Manager position will bring a wealth of experience in contract drafting/advising. With a degree in law under your belt, you have spent more than 5 years working as either a Contract Manager or Legal Counsel. Your knowledge of the shipping industry would be advantageous in this role. Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from various geographical locations, prioritise tasks effectively, coupled with your strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and structural mindset make you an excellent fit for this role. Additionally, your excellent communication skills will enable you to thrive in an international environment.

- Knowledge of the shipping industry or related sectors is an advantage.

- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a structured mindset.
