Junior Tax Associate

About the role

OCIC Consulting Int'l. Inc.' is seeking a talented Junior Tax Associate to join our dynamic team in our Makati City Metro Manila office. This full-time role will involve providing high-quality tax advisory services to our diverse client base across the Accounting and Taxation industries.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the preparation of tax returns, compliance filings and other regulatory documents
• Conducting tax research and analysis to identify planning opportunities and ensure client tax obligations are met
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated tax solutions
• Providing support on tax audit and controversy management
• Contributing to the ongoing development of the team's technical knowledge and capabilities

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in tax advisory or compliance roles, preferably within a professional services firm
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
• Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work
• Knowledge of local and international tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in tax software and technology tools
