Content Writer & Social Media Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Content Writer & Social Media Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, and driving engagement for our diverse range of E-commerce websites.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing Facebook and other social platforms, crafting high-quality blog posts, and effectively engaging with audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Content Writing & Blogging:

• Create high-quality blog posts that are SEO-friendly and align with the brand’s voice for websites including canadamats.ca , matsupplier.com, cocomatsnmore.com, bentleytrike.com, and poshbabyandkids.ca
• Write compelling content that educates and engages our target audience across different product segments (e.g., mats, kids’ products).
  
  

Social Media Management

• Manage and maintain our social media accounts across multiple platforms, focusing on Facebook.
• Develop, schedule, and post engaging content that aligns with each brand’s voice and goals.
• Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and leverage them for our brand.
• Research and understand target audiences, ensuring content is relevant and valuable.
  
  

Community Engagement

• Engage with followers on social media platforms, responding to comments and messages promptly.
• Foster a positive and interactive online community, encouraging engagement through thoughtful responses and interactions.
• Run and manage Facebook groups or communities as needed, facilitating discussions that drive brand engagement.
  
  

Content Strategy & Analysis

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content calendars and strategies tailored to each brand’s needs.
• Analyze the performance of social media campaigns and blog content, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Stay updated on best practices for social media marketing and content creation, applying new techniques to enhance engagement.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a social media manager or content writer, particularly for Facebook and blog content.
• Strong understanding of the latest trends in social media, especially Facebook.
• Excellent writing skills in English, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
• Experience in creating SEO-optimized content for websites.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Familiarity with e-commerce brands and a passion for creating engaging content.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Experience with other social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, or Pinterest.
• Understanding of Google Analytics or other social media analytics tools.
  
  

Work Schedule

Flexible work hours, but availability during certain hours to coordinate with our team (based in Canada).
