Your Role:

As a Content Moderation - Team Lead, You Will

  • Supervise and guide a team of Content Moderators, ensuring adherence to quality standards and performance targets.
  • Perform and support all core moderation duties, reviewing user-generated content (images, videos, text, live streams, and voice) to ensure compliance with community guidelines, platform policies, and local regulations.
  • Identify and remove harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content, escalating complex cases to higher-level review teams when necessary.
  • Monitor real-time or live content and provide rapid response to flagged or high-risk materials.
  • Proactively identify trends, behaviors, and recurring violations, and provide actionable insights for process improvement.
  • Maintain and update regional sensitive vocabulary lists to align moderation practices with cultural and regulatory norms.
  • Track, analyze, and report key metrics related to team performance, content trends, and violations.
  • Collaborate with policy, legal, trust & safety, and other internal teams to ensure consistent policy enforcement and effective communication.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and client-facing skills when coordinating updates, escalations, and reports.
  • Support the onboarding and development of team members through coaching, mentoring, and feedback.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

  • Proven experience in content moderation or trust & safety operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing or supervising a team.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or similar digital tools.

Preferred skills/expertise

  • Client-facing experience in a BPO or digital operations environment.
  • Strong background in reporting, quality assurance, or team performance management.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, content policies, or moderation tools.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to policy, process, and platform updates.
  • Passion for maintaining a safe and compliant digital environment.
