Content Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain copyright quality by providing regular feedback to direct superiors, and come up with realistic and attainable solutions for streamlining quality assurance and producing scalable training solutions to emergent workflows
2. Increase efficiency through automation, workflow streamlining, system optimization, and stay up to date on trends
3. Improve key performance indicators by developing the quality assurance system to better identify, measure, and improve opportunities in processes
4. Learn complex and technical concepts and systems and deliver meaningful results using them, and communicate technical results and method
5. Strong analytical, data manipulation, interpretation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage a wide array of data sources.
6. Research, experiment with, and implement new technical solutions to improve conflict management’s quality and efficiency
7. Work directly with cross-functional stakeholders to directly convey policy decisions to advertisers and users
8. Review content disputes to determine whether they’re for claim release or claim reinstatement
9. Manage escalations with a fast turn-around time to define and deliver the best action plan
10. Implement claiming in accordance with the Digital Carveout rule and YouTube policy.

Key Competencies:

1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
3. Experience or demonstrated interest in content ID claiming, copyright infringement, and/or abuse in the YouTube platform.
4. Experience in problem-solving and analytical skills using data and technology to solve complex business problems, coupled with a proven ability to exercise judgment even in a crisis, and excellent attention to detail
5. Good communication skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into simple and clear language
6. Experience in content policy, anti-abuse, and reviewing online content
7. Must have ready work-from-home equipment (PC/laptop), reliable internet connection (fixed line or prepaid home modem)
8. Digital savvy & can pick up new tools quickly
9. Results-driven and Detail-oriented
10. Positive demeanor and no ego!
