Construction Supervisor (Cebu)

About The Role

As a Construction Supervisor, you will supervise a team of Project Managers and oversee any Building Administration and Maintenance Department (BAMD) personnel stationed at the hub whether in Visayas or Mindanao office, depending on where he/she as Construction Supervisor is holding office.

You will manage, monitor, and ensure on-time, quality assured and cost effective completion of projects for Head Office, branches, and satellite offices in accordance to the approved design and standards of the Bank.

How You’ll Contribute

• Elevates situations to immediate superior if deemed necessary in the intent to resolving the matter in the interest of time, cost and quality
• Assesses critical situations that may be elevated by the Project Managers and come up with timely, relevant, and sound solutions
• Conducts technical inspection of prospective sites and provide assessment for reference of end-users/internal clients
• Supervises work performance of the Project Managers under his/her team for them to deliver the assigned tasks/projects
• Lead and conduct regular project meetings and site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project timelines
• Oversee design document preparation, plan approvals, and contractor deliverables to ensure timely and compliant execution of all phases
• Facilitate bid processes, evaluate bid tabulations, and review contracts and billing to ensure accuracy, fairness, and risk mitigation
• Coordinate logistics for Owner-Supplied Materials and manage project completion, including punchlist resolution and site turnover to end users
• Ensure submission of all required close-out documents (e.g., permits, as-built plans, warranties) to comply with regulatory standards and finalize project delivery.
• Cross Functions with BAMD to cover for related works in the vicinity of the hub where he/she is assigned
• Other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• At least 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in design, construction, people management, and project management
• Able to organize time, scope, tasks and people in working in sync to achieve a collective goal
• Must be amenable to go on field work (Mainly for VisMin areas and Luzon when necessary) for site inspection, project/construction meetings, and reporting as needed
• Must be amenable to work onsite in Cebu
