Qualifications
- A graduate of any IT course
- Proven experience as a Computer Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and software applications
- Knowledge in ITIL framework is preferred
- Familiar with diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Familiar with IT Asset and Inventory Management System
- Good understanding of ESD precautions and proper handling of electronic components
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheet
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- IT Support and Troubleshooting
- Maintain and upgrade computer hardware
- Diagnose and replace damaged hardware, peripherals, and accessories
- Install, update, and reinstalle operating systems and other applications
- Diagnose and resolve software issues, including viruses and malware
- Support users on common problems and guide them through troubleshooting steps
- Provide training to users on how to use their computers correctly
- Act as 1st-level support to all IT-related concerns
- Escalate support cases to Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, based on documented escalation matrix
- Fixed IT Asset Management
- Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recording of fixed assets
- Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference
- Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the SAP system
- Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed
- Work closely with the IT Head in tracking project costs in comparison with the budgeted projections
- Conduct periodic reviews of the fixed asset schedule to determine dispositions
- Conduct a semiannual physical inventory to determine the actual counts of IT assets
- Reconcile the IT assets inventory with the Finance list of IT asset inventories
- Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets and assist the Finance Department in their inquiries
- Review and preparation of monthly IT expenses report
- Submit weekly IT enabled seats and available IT assets onsite
- Custodianship for IT Assets storage
- In charge of deployment and retrieval of IT assets
- Perform duties as required by the immediate and department heads and higher authorities/top management
