Overview:
The Compliance Testing Specialist supports the development, execution, and enhancement of compliance testing programs to ensure Maya Group's adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to evaluate compliance risks effectively, identify control gaps, and provide actionable recommendations.
What you will be doing:
Compliance Testing Strategy:
- Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance testing strategy to assess the organization’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Contribute to designing and updating test plans based on risk assessments and regulatory changes.
Testing & Monitoring:
- Execute compliance testing procedures across various functions specific to the Maya Philippines and One Maya
- GroupIdentify control weaknesses, non-compliance, or areas for improvement in business processes and make recommendations for remediation.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare detailed compliance testing reports, documenting findings, assessments, and suggested corrective actions.
- Present findings to senior management, compliance officers, and relevant stakeholders.
Risk & Regulatory Awareness:
- Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes and ensure the testing program is aligned with current regulatory requirements.
- Assess risks and trends in the business environment and adjust testing priorities accordingly.
Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the organization’s overall compliance framework and testing processes.
- Implement lessons learned and best practices from past compliance reviews to improve future testing
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure testing activities meet industry standards.
- Closely coordinate with Maya Bank Compliance Testing Team for One Maya Compliance Testing activities.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Banking, Business, Law, or related field.Certification in Audit, Compliance, or Risk Management (e.g., CPA, CIA, CAMS) and familiarity with AI is an advantage.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management roles.
