Responsibilities
- Monitor and track regulatory changes that impact the organization, and assist in maintaining an updated repository of these changes.
- Communicate regulatory updates and changes to relevant teams and departments in a timely and clear manner
- Work closely with the Compliance and Governance Officer to ensure that regulatory changes are incorporated into organizational policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely compliance reports for submission to regulatory authorities and other relevant stakeholders.
- Track reporting deadlines to ensure all submissions are made on time.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather the necessary data and information for regulatory reports.
- Assist in conducting compliance testing by gathering data, preparing documentation, and following up on identified gaps or deficiencies.
- Support the Compliance Supervisor in ensuring that corrective actions are implemented following compliance tests to maintain adherence to regulatory standards.
- Carry out other tasks as assigned by the Chief Legal, Risk, and Compliance Officer or the Compliance Manager to support the department’s objectives.
- Provide additional administrative and operational support as required to ensure the smooth execution of compliance and governance functions.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, auditing, or a related function (entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds may also be considered).
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML, Data Privacy, SEC, BIR, DOH, or industry-specific regulations).
- Strong knowledge of compliance principles, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance practices.
