Clinic Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide emergency, care and treatment to employees within the scope of nursing responsibility such as first-aid treatment, checking of vital signs, health interview, dispensing of medicine
- Assess and determine the health status of the employee, which includes recommendations like being sent home or back to work
- Refer/transport ill employees to the hospital as necessary
- Conduct regular inventory of medicines and medical supplies. Prepares purchase requisition of such as necessary to always ensure availability
- Conduct home visits as requested by the company or follow-through of employees with chronic illnesses or on prolonged sick leave
- Maintain employee's individual medical records with strict confidentiality
- Generate reports and submit them to management or government agencies as scheduled
- Coordinate with Human Capital regarding HMO & Group Life Insurance requirements and concerns. Coordinates with the provider to resolve any issues/concerns
- Assists in the assessment of pre-employment/ annual medical examination results, and coordinates status/evaluation with Recruitment
- Coordinate any work-related injuries/illnesses for immediate investigation and corrective actions
- Assess results, refer to Company Physician for management, monitor recommendations and follow through until illness is cleared
- Assist with Safety Officer and Occupational Health Doctor for DOLE compliance and documentations
- Implement Clinic standard operating procedure / policies and procedures
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Welcome visitors and clients with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and messages, ensuring prompt responses
- Schedule appointments, meetings, or events
- Conduct inventory for the office, ensuring supplies are well-stocked and organized
- Maintain and organize office files, records, and documentation
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure a smooth office workflow
- Candidate must have at least a bachelor’s degree in nursing or related course
- Must have professional license
- Certified occupational health and safety officer preferred but not required
