Job Description

1. Renders basic nursing care such as and first-aid treatment whenever necessary
2. Ensures nurse coverage whenever there is production operation
3. Assists the Company Doctor in conducting regular physical examination to employees
4. Monitors and maintains records of daily consultation and medical clearances
5. Attends to the employees who met an accident and facilitates in patient transfer to an appropriate medical facility on critical situations
6. Updates Maternity Records
7. Dispenses over the counter and doctor-prescribed medicine with accompanying instructions
8. Performs home visit to the employees whenever necessary
9. Facilitates Random Drug Testing and Vaccination Programs
10. Facilititates conduct of Health and Wellness program
11. Assess employee's fitness to work within the scope of their profession
12. Conducts daily and monthly inventory and requisition of medicines and clinic supplies
13. Conducts health related teachings whenever necessary
14. Facilitates enrolment and renewal of Health Management Organization (HMO) and Group Life Insurance
15. Initiates preparation & schedule of annual physical examination of employees with the HMO provider
16. Serves as an active member of canteen committee; checks and monitors menus, health and safety consciousness of concessionaire especially at night shift, such as conduct of food buy-off; conducts evaluation and consolidates canteen evaluation reports.
17. Coordinates pre-employment examination results of identified candidates to the accredited clinic/hospital
18. Keeps and maintains an updated medical file of employees. Monitors employees with existing medical problems including pregnant employees for immediate provision of medical attention/advise when needed.
19. Monitors/updates/generates SL records and reports of employees
20. Participates in Safety Programs of the Company (specifically the Emergency Response Team) and advocates for the well being of the employees.
21. Prepares required regular weekly, monthly and annual reports of medical relevance (e.g. Management Reports, SL/ML monitoring and management, DOLE, etc.)
22. Maintains daily logbook (sickness, consultations, and other pertinent record).
23. Responsible for regular update of Health tips based on prevalent sickness per week as per record and health tips.
24. Assists HR on other HR deliverables specifically on the implementation of government mandatory benefits and on checking of billings for manpower agencies.
25. Supports and complies with the applicable requirements of EMS, 6S and Health & Safety.
26. Ensures adherence to Company Polices, Code of Conduct and Discipline and other applicable rules and regulations.
27. Performs other tasks under his/her field of competency.
