Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Communications Specialist to lead and execute impactful campaigns focused on cybersecurity and data privacy awareness. This role is crucial for designing and delivering clear, effective messaging to promote employee understanding, engagement, and adherence to security protocols. The Communications Specialist will craft a variety of communication assets, including articles, newsletters, social media posts, and training materials, to build a culture of cybersecurity vigilance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications and change management, with a keen ability to simplify complex topics and foster organizational alignment with data privacy best practices.

Communications Delivery

DUTIES & AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and design effective communications campaign assets including articles, web copy, newsletters, emails, invitations, scripts, social media posts, and other relevant materials
• Communicate to stakeholders regularly, utilizing a variety of communication channels
• Ensure all communications materials are designed to build employee trust, strengthen commitment, encourage preparation for change, and minimize the spread of misinformation
• Refine core messaging to ensure organizational consistency in all aspects of communication including development, organization and education
  
  
  

Project Management

• Ensure timely delivery of accurate, accessible, consistent, honest, up-to-date and engaging communication materials
• On-time submission of monitoring reports for key projects
• Use existing mechanisms and routines as much as possible to communicate and deliver messages effectively (where existing mechanisms cannot be used new mechanisms and routines will be developed and implemented)
• Coordinate communications to all internal and external parties so they are consistent in message, timing, branding and format
• Partner with different divisions in executing communication and engagement-related activities
• Develop innovative ideas and solutions to develop Communications Plan, channels, messages and the overall communications management approach
  
  
  

Work Experience

• 3-5 years work experience preferably in developing messages for a wide range of audiences
  
  
  

Level of Knowledge

• Graduate of any Marketing or Communications-related course preferred
• Good background in Communications Management, Project Management, and Organizational Restructure Projects
  
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Above average written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in business and creative writing, and proofreading
• Able to work effectively at relevant levels in an organization
• Able to adapt in a challenging work environment
• Experience and knowledge of change management methodologies and principles
• A good understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
• Communications strategy and planning
• Document management and action planning
