Commercial Analyst

We're Hiring: Commercial Analyst!

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Analyst to develop commercial models for new and evolving services, including costing and billing. The candidate should also understand software licensing to analyze and report on its use and compliance. Communication skills will be key as customer compliance and recommendations discussions will be an essential part of the role. While knowledge of Microsoft, Veeam, and VMware licensing is preferred, it is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial Analysis: Utilize commercial analyst knowledge to support product development and billing. Manage the services commercial models, optimize the automation of billing and reporting of financial profitability of the developed services.
• Licensing Management: Oversee and manage software licensing agreements for Microsoft, Veeam, and VMware products. Ensure compliance with licensing terms and conditions.
• Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant licensing regulations and policies. Conduct regular audits to identify and address any compliance issues.
• Cost Optimization: Analyze licensing costs and usage patterns to identify opportunities for cost savings. Provide recommendations to optimize licensing expenditures.
• Reporting: Prepare and present reports on licensing activities, compliance status, and cost optimization efforts to senior management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical and commercial analysis skills.
• Proven experience in software licensing management, particularly with Microsoft, Veeam, and VMware products.
• Strong knowledge of licensing regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and licensing management tools.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial analyst role, must have excellent excel and BI skills.
• Certification in software licensing or related fields, preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud-based licensing models and trends.
