Position Summary
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Guides and manages all aspects of software/hardware deployments to meet deadlines for systems go-live.
- Develops detailed schedules of assigned projects for New Product Introduction.
- Ability to analyze casino business operational needs / challenges and work with internal team to find the possible solution
- Oversee the implementation of project improvements
- Coordinates all departments as they relate to product production.
- Organizes interdepartmental activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and successfully produced.
- Evaluates and secures required resources to match project and production needs.
- Motivates product contributors.
- Conducts status meetings with both internal teams and external customers.
- Determine the user requirements (BRD) working with business analysts, product owner & business stakeholders
- Tracks, monitors, and reports project progress on a regular basis to the Executive Management Team through the direct supervisor.
- Ensures product quality metrics are gathered; analyzes data and implements corrective actions as required to improve quality.
- Develop project specifications, agree project plan including scope, key activities, deliverables, milestones, and deadlines.
- Maintains products implementation documentation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills needed, especially in Project, Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of other project management applications a plus.
- Should have clear understanding of Software Development life cycle and software configuration processes
- Excellent analytical skills and problem resolution skills
- Ability to communicate with IT and business users with ease
- Ability to manage issues requiring problem resolution and conflict management.
- Proven relationship building experience.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to obtain gaming licenses in various jurisdictions.
- 5+ years of experience of project management, engineering or operations.
- Casino/Gaming domain preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Masters Degree / MBA preferred.
- The work conditions are representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations
- Actively co-operate and comply with the company’s WHS Policy and Program to ensure own health and safety and the health and safety of others in the workplace
- Ensure compliance with safe work practices
- Ensure not to put self and others at risk
- Use and maintain equipment properly and ensure that the work area is free of hazards
- Report all incidents, injuries and near misses
- Report any hazard or accident to the supervisor or manager as soon as it becomes apparent
- Advise your manager if you do not believe you have the skills, training or equipment to safely perform your duties
