Civil Engineer (Design and Development)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop civil engineering designs, including:
• Road, drainage, water reticulation, and stormwater management systems for the site, aligned with previously approved concept plans and lot layouts.
• Road and access crossover profiles, including longitudinal and cross-sections.
• Clearing and bulk earthworks for site preparation.
• Conduct vehicular turn movement analysis for proposed designs, ensuring access and maneuverability within the site for both public and service vehicles.
• Review utility records and engage with service providers to assess potential impacts of the proposed development on existing services.
• Create a concept Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP) for submission.
• Prepare a comprehensive Civil Design Report to accompany the Detailed Design submission.
• Submit a FNQROC Statement of Compliance for the civil design package and ensure the preparation of the FNQROC operational works receipting checklist.
• Develop a Schedule of Quantities for tendering purposes.
• Identify critical civil technical or risk items to support de-risking and early confident pricing.
• Coordinate with consultants to align civil designs with built elements and service provisions.
• Attend project and stakeholder meetings as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in civil design for site development projects.
• Familiarity with FNQROC standards and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of stormwater management, drainage systems, erosion and sediment control.
• Experience in utilities coordination and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficient in civil engineering software and CAD applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Work with Australian Civil Engineering firms and clients.
• Willing to start immediately.
• Willing to travel or relocate to Angeles City Pampanga.
