What are we looking for?
Skills Required
- Experience with 3D CAD focusing on design-for-construction for joinery projects and products.
- A strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with hard dollar estimating software is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Possess a deep understanding of developing estimation methodologies, identifying key cost components, conducting bid evaluations, and performing risk analysis.
- Evaluate joinery projects by researching best practices, leveraging knowledge of materials and construction methods.
- Design products based on customer needs and project requirements, adapting as necessary.
- Create manufacturing-ready data through modification and communication with project teams.
- Ensure product quality by overseeing tasks and verifying outcomes against established criteria.
- Prepare documentation including 3D models and drawings, ensuring all information is accurate.
- Compile construction drawings and reports based on project data, maintaining compliance with company standards.
- Manage project data entry and support document control efforts.
- Enhance professional knowledge through workshops, industry publications, and ongoing team education.
