Purchases materials, parts, supplies, and equipment following established purchasing policies and procedures, and optimizes price delivery and terms.

Buyer - Material Planner
Purchases materials, parts, supplies, and equipment following established purchasing policies and procedures, and optimizes price delivery and terms.
About The Job
- Plan and analyze raw materials requirements based on demand/ forecast through MRP and within desired inventory levels.
- Generate and issue PO to Suppliers.
- Monitor the status of delivery and make the necessary arrangements for critical items.
- Maintain planning master data in SAP such as Safety stocks, ABC Class, forecast consumption, and lead times.
- Settles delivery issues, and discrepancies with Suppliers and Warehouse.
- Effectively manage inventory by using lean techniques, e.g. Kanban, JIT, etc.
- Graduate of any 4-year course.
- With experience in a manufacturing company.
- Materials Planning in SAP MRP System.
- Fluent (Written and Verbal) in English.
- Proficient with MS Office. SAP knowledge is required.
- Time management and sense of urgency.
