About The Role
As a Business Process Re-engineering Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Bank’s transformation activities with a specific focus on the Finance group. S/He will work in close alignment with the Business Re-engineering (BPR) Lead and other management/ key stakeholders to support the execution of strategic/ cross-functional process improvements/ re-engineering and process maturity.

As a Business Process Re-engineering Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Bank’s transformation activities with a specific focus on the Finance group. S/He will work in close alignment with the Business Re-engineering (BPR) Lead and other management/ key stakeholders to support the execution of strategic/ cross-functional process improvements/ re-engineering and process maturity.
How You’ll Contribute
- Critically assess existing processes, analyze corresponding data, identify problems or potential for improvement, redesign the processes/optimize them and prepare corresponding business requirements for implementation by the execution team
- Analyses data on full time employee (FTE), cycle time, overtime utilization, volume and any other data relevant to the value stream and/or process by performing value stream and statistical analysis to determine gaps that critically affects the performance of the value stream and/or process and prioritize for review
- Assesses in detail the current value stream and/or process by determining issues or problems contributing inefficiencies using Lean and Design Thinking tools to determine viable solutions and courses of actions addressing the root cause/s
- Identify and assist on the execution of the Lean Six Sigma (LSS) initiatives that advance priorities of the Finance / Compliance teams; Understand emerging business pain points and devise improvement plans
- Streamlines and eliminates manual processes by identifying opportunities/ process improvements to deliver business value and customers’ expectations
- Makes a feasible plan by defining value stream transformation initiative’s scope and determining what resources are available, estimating time and financial commitment, as well as how to monitor and report the progress to achieve the goals and objectives of the project and align with the Finance/ Compliance group’s overall business strategy
- Other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 5 to 7 years of Operational Excellence experience
- Two to three years experience in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred
- Knowledge on the following:
- Value Stream or Process Mapping
- Process Re-engineering
- Basic Statistics
- Lean Six Sigma Tolls and Methodologies
- Human Centered Design Methods
- Project Management Methodolgies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
- Business Operations and Financial Management
- Regulatory Compliance Requirements and Risk Management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
