Business Development Manager - Water Utilities (or Water Infrastructure)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our engagement with Water Services, Inc. and other key Water Districts across the Philippines. The primary focus of this role is to drive the adoption and sales of our pipe products within the water utility sector. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the water infrastructure industry, established relationships within relevant organizations, and a proven track record of securing large-scale projects.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to penetrate and expand our market share within other target Water Districts.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, procurement teams, and project managers within water utilities.
• Proactively identify project opportunities, track tender announcements, and participate in bidding processes for pipe supply.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of client needs and provide tailored solutions utilizing our pipe product portfolio.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and technical specifications to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams including engineering, production, and logistics to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on business development activities.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• [5] years or above of progressive experience in business development or sales, specifically within the water utility, infrastructure, or construction sectors.
• Demonstrable track record of successful project acquisition and revenue growth with other major Water Districts.
• Extensive knowledge of pipe materials (e.g., PVC, HDPE, Ductile Iron) and their applications in water supply and distribution systems.
• Strong understanding of public procurement processes and government regulations in the Philippines.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
