Business Development Manager - Food Service

About the role

As the Business Development Manager - Food Service at Waltermart , you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and expansion within the food service industry. Reporting to the senior leadership, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalising on strategic opportunities to grow Waltermart's food service business across the Luzon. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement innovative business development strategies to expand Waltermart's food service offerings and client base
• Identify and assess new market opportunities, partnerships and trends in the food service industry
• Negotiate and secure commercial agreements with key food service clients and partners
• Manage and oversee the execution of food service projects, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing, operations and finance teams to support the growth of the food service business
• Analyse market data, industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision making
• Champion a customer-centric approach and foster strong relationships with food service clients
• Lead and mentor a team of food service account managers and business development executives

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or account management within the food service industry
• Proven track record of successfully identifying, pitching and securing new business opportunities
• Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyse financial and market data
• Experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve business goals
• Familiarity with the food service landscape and regulatory environment in the Philippines
• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
