About the role

This full-time Credit Analyst position at Business Trends Philippines in Quezon City Metro Manila plays a vital role in evaluating and analysing credit applications to support the company's financial services operations. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough credit assessments, identifying risks, and making recommendations to ensure the company's lending decisions are well-informed and aligned with its strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Analyse credit applications and supporting documentation to assess the creditworthiness of individual and business customers
• Conduct in-depth financial analyses, including reviewing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections
• Evaluate the risks associated with potential credit decisions and make well-reasoned recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather additional information and support the credit decision-making process
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in credit analysis
• Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's credit policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a credit analysis or lending role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify potential risks
• Excellent attention to detail and a thorough understanding of credit assessment methodologies
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to stakeholders
• Proficient in using financial analysis software and tools
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the financial services industry

Must have

• Credit analyst experience able to read and understand financial statements, prepare credit proposals independently

Must have auto loans experience since our Financial deals with equipment loans.
