Job Description

As a Business Development Manager at Nokia, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth by collaborating closely with the sales team and customers in the Philippines. Your expertise in Fixed Networks (FN) solutions will enable you to craft tailored offerings that meet customer needs, fostering long-term partnerships. You will lead the technical strategy for key accounts and guide functional teams through the tender process, ensuring competitive bids and smooth project handovers. Working in a dynamic and inclusive environment, you’ll engage with diverse teams across the organization, contributing to innovative solutions that enhance our competitive edge. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Develops business opportunities with Philippines CSP customers and Enterprise customers.
  • Leads Fixed Networks (FN) solution offer creation activities to address customer's needs as well as to achieve business targets.
  • Actively contributes to create long-term partnerships with key customers and acts as senior subject matter expert.
  • Uses knowledge of FN product solutions, knowledge of industry and competitive landscape, provides technical expertise in the early phase of opportunity development, and develops innovative solutions in order to increase own effectiveness and to sustain competitive advantage.
  • Actively identifies complex technical risks and proposes mitigation plans which generate solid business impact.
  • Contributes to the L2D process from technical perspective.
  • Leads functional team during tender process to create a competitive offer and win the deal, including leads solution creation, supports bid team on solution description, Scope of Work (SoW), Bill of Quantity (BoQ), contributes to Statement of Compliance (SoC), define test cases of proof of concept (POC) or Demo during the bid process.
  • Ensures smooth transfer to project team during G5 process.
  • Responsible for demand forecast of the served customers in the Philippines.
  • Clearly communicate with FN key stakeholders, including FN Business Units, FN Business Centres central teams, Supply Chain, Customer Engineering team and Project Management team, to ensure the delivery of proposed solutions to the prospective customers.

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

  • Minimum 5 years of pre-sales experience in networking, with a strong focus in Fixed Networks (FN) domain
  • Proven track record of successful pre-sales engagements and solution selling
  • Exceptional professional presentation and communication skills with key stakeholders
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and track actions to exceed business targets

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience with demand forecasting and managing customer relationships in the Philippines
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape in telecom networks
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify technical risks and propose effective solutions
  • Familiarity with tender processes and collaboration with bid teams
