- To develop market protective marine in Philippines and support all product management and marine/protective segment activities for Philippines at PMC market. You will report to the Protective Marine Coatings Business Manager.
- Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales targets; achieve maximum sales in assigned segment and territory. Infrastructure (Data Center, Railways & Stations, Island Connector Bridges, Water Distribution)
- Promote PPG PFP and Wet paint products to project Designer, Architects, Consultants and DPWH.
- Identify/ Focus on Big Bets Infra projects
- Revive Infra-Water Distribution business.
- Identify customer needs, price analysis, prepare technical proposals and commercial offer.
- Perform tender reviews and negotiate to secure order.
- Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with PMC Business Manager.
- Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
- Develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all marine products.
- Create and implement sales plans in your area and/or segment that will effectively.
- Travel with sales team and/or Technical Product Specialist to support presentation around new products.
- Visit Offices and Distributors to understand product issues, ensure technical knows of and supports the needs of our marine customers.
- A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred; or a minimum of 7 years of related experience or training in coatings industry especially in protective & marine coatings sector; or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- Minimum 15 years in sales experience.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in business development and project developments.
- Experience working with Designers, Architects, Engineering Company, Consultants in promoting/product inclusion on specs is an advantage.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
- Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team.
- Experience developing marketing and sales strategies.
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Able to work independently and meeting deadlines.
