Brief Introduction - Role Summary/Purpose
As a Business Development Manager in the Digital Commerce team, you will play a pivotal role in developing strategies that will hyperaccelerate the growth and presence of our brands across key Ecommerce Platforms of Shopee, Lazada & TikTokShop.
Leveraging insights into online shopper behavior, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing strategies that influence the digital path to purchase and enhance conversion. Your focus will be on understanding shopper motivations, optimizing the online marketing mix, building strong partnerships with key eCommerce retailers, enablers, agencies, and driving initiatives that result in incremental sales and category growth in a profitable manner.

Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Lead efforts in New User Acquisition via our Premium Portfolio
- Plan Calendar of Activations that marries internal brand and company objectives with retailer unique strengthens and advantages (including external collaborations)
- Manage the maximisation of budget and allocation across retailers and activities
- Forecast demand and improve overall Business Planning Accuracy
- Define assortment priorisation and power-portfolio across Shopee, Lazada & TikTokShop
- Develop sensible Pricing logic and Promotion framework across the entire portfolio, including virtual bundles
- Create strategies and tactics that will drive higher ASP, Margins, Mix
- Communication: Cascade strategies and plans clearly to team and partners
- Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate implementation of cascaded plans
- Self-Evolution: Continuous monitoring of landscape new developments, synthesise takeaways and suggest meaningful improvements / test & learns
- Efficiency: Identify workflows that can be streamlined and suggest new processes
- Mindset: Relentless pursuit to be better than we were yesterday
- Analyse performance relativities with Retailer Data (Seller Center) and 3P Market Shares
- Identify new business opportunities from big and thick data
- Initiate and implement experiments on identified business opportunities
- Iterate results and adapt learnings to greater effectiveness and efficiency
- Bachelor’s Degree in any course
- Ecommerce experience managing Shopee / Lazada / TikTokShops
- Functional Competencies such as
- Google Suites
- Shopee / Lazada / TikTokShops Seller Center
- Literate in Performance Media Metrics
- Self-Starter who has high ownership and is able to work independently
- Impeccable project organisation and management skills
- Proactive problem-solver
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and insighting ability
- Hungry and eager to learn with an open and growth mindset
- Agile and adaptable, thrive in fast paced environments
