The Business Analyst & Operations Management Intern will support the organization by assisting in requirements gathering, process analysis, operational planning, and knowledge content creation. This hybrid role provides hands-on experience in bridging technical and business teams, optimizing workflows, and ensuring smooth daily operations. In addition, the intern will contribute to developing educational materials and training content, transforming operational knowledge into structured learning resources.
This role prepares interns for multi-functional positions in business analysis, operations management, and learning content development.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Analysis Support- Assist in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Participate in stakeholder interviews, surveys, and workshops.
- Map and analyze current workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Help prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Monitor and help coordinate daily activities and project timelines.
- Assist in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support inventory/resource tracking and supplier coordination (if applicable).
- Prepare and maintain operational reports and records.
- Organize and maintain business and operational data.
- Use diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Visio, or similar) for process mapping.
- Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
- Convert documented processes and workflows into learning modules, lesson outlines, and training presentations.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create educational content for internal training or public courses.
- Assist in updating and maintaining learning resources on the company’s Learning Hub.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects.
- Compile user feedback and prepare evaluation summaries.
- Provide support in conducting training sessions or webinars related to business processes and tools.
- Currently enrolled in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Education Technology, or a related course.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with project management, diagramming, or e-learning tools is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Exposure to real-world business analysis and operations management practices.
- Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, and operational coordination.
- Training in tools such as Excel, Power BI, Trello, Asana, BPMN diagramming, and e-learning authoring tools.
- Experience in course and lesson topic development for training and knowledge-sharing purposes.
- Guidance from experienced mentors in technical, operational, and content development roles.
- Potential for recommendation for future employment.
