The Business Analyst will collaborate with internal LSEG partners to interpret performance management data, define detailed requirements and be responsible for the implementation of reports within agreed timelines. This will involve working closely with the team members to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality reports. The role also includes partnering with Usage Analysts to automate routine tasks using tools such as Excel Macros, VBA, Access Database, SQL and Alteryx Workflows and to present insights through Tableau or Power Bi dashboards as self-serve tools.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for:
- Maintain Existing Reports: Ensure that reports are updated to reflect additional or changing business requirements. This includes continuously optimizing existing reports for better performance without compromising the final output.
- Analyzing Service Performance: Interpret performance data, identify trends, detect problem areas and propose actionable solutions when appropriate.
- Collaborating with Internal Partners: Work closely with internal partners to clarify reporting needs and develop solutions that align with business objectives.
- Developing New Reports: Build new reports using any reporting tool deemed vital while adhering to the company's standards.
- Automating Routine Work: Collaborate with team members to automate routine tasks in Excel using Macros, SQL, Alteryx Workflows, Tableau and Power BI.
- Maintaining Existing Automations and Dashboards: Lead and update existing macros, workflows and dashboards as needed by the business.
- Becoming a domain expert: Develop a deep understanding of internal datasets, reporting tools and applications, becoming the go-to person for these areas.
- Engaging with Business Partners: Continuously improve business knowledge by engaging with customers from both operations and support teams to ensure reporting aligns with business needs.
- Conducting Report and Trend Analysis: Perform report or trend analysis as requested by the business to provide insights and support decision-making
- Supporting Data Migrations: Assist with data migrations, ensuring that relevant data is accurately and efficiently transferred to new systems.
- Education/Experience: Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Business Management, Business Analytics, Finance, or Commerce, with experience in a Financial Reporting/Analytics environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge and experience with automation tools, including but not limited to VBA/Macros, Alteryx, and Python.
- Experience in generating data using Business Objects.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.
- Dashboard and Reporting Tools: Knowledge and experience in developing dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
- Self-Motivation and Adaptability: Ability to work independently, lead changing priorities, and demonstrate dedication to delivering on agreed timelines with minimal direction.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring transparency, integrity in all forms of interaction.
- Ability to Work Under Stress: Capable of working optimally under tight deadlines and in fast paced situations, delivering quality results within exacting timeframes.
- Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work in EMEA/US shifts as the need arises.
