WHO YOU ARE: You’re a meticulous and proactive Bookkeeping Specialist with a solid foundation in accounting and financial principles. You’re driven by accuracy, eager to support a growing finance team, and ready to thrive in a long-term, remote position.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience;
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel;
• Strong knowledge of the accounting cycle, account treatments, and frameworks such as IFRS or U.S. GAAP;
• A reliable computer/laptop and stable internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps via LAN; backup ISP required);
• A team player with a growth mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to long-term success;
  
  

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and organize financial records for easy retrieval and reference;
• Monitor and manage accounts payable (AP) inbox and vendor updates in QuickBooks Online (QBO);
• Record day-to-day financial transactions, focusing on AP invoices and payments;
• Match AP invoices and payments within QuickBooks;
• Manage credit card activity, including general ledger coding and statement reconciliations;
• Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies;
• Reconcile bank statements with company records, identifying and resolving discrepancies;
• Prepare and reconcile schedules for prepaid and accrued expenses;
• Assist with payroll processing and related reviews;
