We are a dynamic broadcasting company specializing in radio advertising and digital marketing services. We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team and ensure the accuracy of our financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording day-to-day transactions and updating the general ledger.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliation of bank statements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial reporting.
- Track and categorize revenue from radio spot sales and digital marketing services.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Handle payroll reconciliation and approve expense reports.
- Forward all invoices to the Accounts Payable Manager for processing.
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
- 4-10 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (preferably NetSuite) and strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication abilities.
- EST preferred, with flexibility to accommodate 4 hours of overlap if working outside of this time zone.
