About the role:

The role involves the development and management of detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical and electrical building systems, with a focus on translating 2D design drawings into coordinated, constructible models. The individual collaborates closely with MEP engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design accuracy and intent. Responsibilities include performing clash detection, coordinating with architectural and structural models, maintaining BIM documentation, and adhering to both company and industry standards. The role also supports the implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), generates construction drawings and schedules from BIM models, and actively participates in coordination meetings. Compliance with client requirements and standards such as ISO 19650 is ensured, while continuous engagement with software developments drives workflow optimization and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Translate 2D design drawings into coordinated and constructible 3D BIM models.
• Collaborate with MEP engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate model content and design intent.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with architectural and structural models using tools like Navisworks.
• Maintain BIM documentation and model element libraries according to company and industry standards.
• Support the implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project-specific modelling guidelines.
• Produce coordinated MEP construction drawings, diagrams, and schedules directly from BIM models.
• Assist in regular BIM coordination meetings and contribute to issue resolution and quality assurance.
• Ensure models are compliant with client requirements, industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and company workflows.
• Stay updated with BIM software developments and suggest improvements for workflow optimization.
