BILLING ASSISTANT (PROJECT-BASED)

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any business-related courses
• Preferably at least one (1) year of relevant experience in billing processes & PHIC claims processes and/or hospital software system
• People and service oriented; has passion for excellence in providing exceptional customer experience and ability to multi-task
• Willing to work on shift, weekends and holiday(s)
• Preferably residing within Tarlac Province

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Attends to patients’ or relatives’ queries on patient billing, Philhealth claims (PHIC) and Health Management Organization (HMO) requirements and benefits
• Assists patients and/or their relatives in the filling out of forms related to health insurance, PHIC coverage, etc. for bills to be charged; Reviews materials to ensure their accurate completion.
• Coordinates with doctors on professional fees and the guaranteed charges from HMO/corporate accounts of the patient
• Responsible for monitoring patient's account, accurately preparing patients’ billing, documenting, delivering on time and properly explaining to the patient or patient’s representatives
• Performs other duties and responsibilities analogous, related to and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities or as assigned by an immediate superior, as necessary.
