What are we looking for?

Join an expanding Australian tech team thats making business intelligence more accessible, more intuitive, and more powerful with AI-driven analytics.

As a Back-End Developer (.NET Developer), youll join a small, collaborative team and work directly with the CTO and senior developer on the core API platform. Youll help build new features, maintain integrations, and support the transition to Clean Architecture.

This role is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in enterprise .NET development, work with AI-powered analytics, and gain exposure to a wide variety of business systems and integrations.

What are you expected to do?

• Build and maintain RESTful API endpoints using C# and .NET Core.
• Develop new integration connectors for 1st- and 3rd-party systems.
• Optimise database queries and improve application performance.
• Write clean, maintainable code following CQRS/MediatR and Clean Architecture patterns.
• Debug and triage issues reported by customers or identified in the system.
• Contribute to platform improvements and architectural decisions.
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.
• Work alongside AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development while maintaining code quality.
  
  
  

Youll be a great fit if:

• You have a 3 years of experience with C# and .NET Core.
• You are comfortable working with SQL and relational databases, writing queries, and understanding indexes and database design.
• You understand RESTful API development, including HTTP methods and status codes.
• You are proficient with Git for source control.
• You have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to read existing code and quickly understand business requirements.
  
  
  

We will be absolutely thrilled if you also have the following:

• You have experience with Entity Framework Core or Dapper.
• You are familiar with MySQL.
• You understand CQRS/MediatR patterns and Clean Architecture.
• You have experience writing unit tests using NUnit, Moq, or FluentAssertions.
• You have exposure to integrations with financial systems (Xero, MYOB, Stripe, Dynamics 365, Wiise), CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot), or cloud services (Azure, SharePoint, SendGrid).
• You have worked with JWT authentication, SignalR, background processing with Hangfire, and API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.

Please note: This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in the Philippines. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Philippines labor laws and employment regulations.
