AVP for Risk Management

About the role

As the AVP for Risk Management at Cebu Landmasters, Inc., you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the company's operations and assets. This full-time position is based in Cebu City, Cebu, where you will work closely with the leadership team to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across various aspects of the real estate and property business.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to protect the company's interests
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyses to proactively identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk mitigation and control measures are in place
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management policies and procedures, making recommendations for improvement
• Provide expert guidance and training to employees on risk management best practices
• Stay abreast of industry regulations, trends, and emerging risks to inform the company's risk management approach
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to keep the leadership team informed of the company's risk profile

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in risk management, preferably in the real estate or property industry
• Proven track record in successfully implementing and managing enterprise-wide risk management programs
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate complex risks
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
• Proficient in data analysis, risk modelling, and the use of risk management software and tools
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively
• Expertise in regulatory compliance, particularly in the real estate and property sector
• Degree in Business, Finance, or a relevant field, with professional certifications (e.g., CRM, PRM) highly preferred
