About The Role
As a AU/US Assistant Accountant, you will:
Duties
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an exceptional Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Team. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Assist with weekly payroll for the group
- Assist with month and year end close and financial accounts
- Assist with the preparation of BAS, Payroll Tax, and FBT
- Assist with Balance sheet and GL reconciliations
- Assist with Accounts Payable / Receivable
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management reporting packs
- Other ad hoc duties as required to support the team
To be considered for this great opportunity, you will have:
- A Degree in Commerce and studying towards or recently completed CPA or CA
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in Australian accounting or knowledge of US GAAP
- High attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly and supportive team
- Strong mentor and leadership team
