Job Description

  • Design and develop automation systems to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Program, test, and troubleshoot automation equipment and software.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades for automation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards within the production environment.
  • Analyze system performance and propose enhancements to increase efficiency.
  • Document technical specifications, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Provide technical support and training to operational staff when needed.


The Successful Applicant

A Successful Automation Engineer Should Have

  • A degree in engineering, preferably in automation, electrical, or mechanical fields.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and automation tools relevant to the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address technical challenges.
  • Experience in working with PLCs, SCADA systems, and robotics.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards applicable to manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively.
