Your Role

As a AutoCAD Draftsman (Draftsperson), you will:

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to create detailed mechanical drawings and designs using AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Create engineering drawings including but not limited to architectural plans, site General Arrangements (GA`s), & P&ID`s
• Produce 2D & 3D drawings to enable manufacture of industrial equipment from existing samples
• Develop site layouts and equipment drawings for industrial projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and make revisions based on feedback.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of industry standards and best practices.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Maintenance and updating of Drawing Registers
• Work closely with the production and project team to ensure the efficient manufacturing of equipment.
• Perform quality checks on drawings and designs to ensure they meet our high standards.
• Although this role is primarily office-based, there may be a requirement to travel occasionally to various sites
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• A minimum of 3 years in the Industrial design/drafting profession
• Strong working application of main functions of Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor
• Mechanical drafting experience in a professional environment
• High level of IT competency essential, understanding of Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain good working relationships with clients and workmates
• Ability to complete work within set standards of time, cost and quality
• Previous industry and gas experience is an advantage
