Your Role

As an AU Travel Officer, you are responsible for:

• Manage and coordinate travel arrangements for PNG-based and international personnel, liaising with the Travel Management Company (TMC) and airlines.
• Process ad hoc bookings and modifications in SAP, ensuring smooth communication with TMC, airlines, and internal departments.
• Arrange hotel reservations through TMC or directly with hotels.
• Manage flight disruptions, changes, and cancellations with timely updates to all stakeholders.
• Provide travel advice to personnel and department administrators to support planning and decision-making.
• Respond promptly and professionally to email and phone (Teams/Skype) inquiries.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Office Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).
• Experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to new tools and software.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
