About The Role

We are seeking a Remote Medical Receptionist to support our psychometry practice by managing patient communication, scheduling, and documentation. The ideal candidate has experience with Therapy Notes EMR and can handle administrative tasks with professionalism, accuracy, and discretion. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to helping patients have a smooth, positive experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients via phone, email, and chat in a courteous manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage psychometry appointments using Therapy Notes EMR
• Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Process intake forms and ensure documentation is accurate and complete
• Handle billing inquiries, co-pay collection, and payment posting (if required)
• Communicate with providers and staff to ensure seamless patient care
• Manage incoming faxes, messages, and other administrative tasks as assigned
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare administrative role
• Experience using Therapy Notes EMR (required)
• Previous experience as a medical scribe, transcriptionist, or in clinical documentation (preferred but not required)
• Familiarity with medical terminology and EMR/EHR systems
• Strong written English and excellent typing skills
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and follow detailed instructions
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free home office
  
  
  

Compensation

• $5 per hour during a 3-month training/probation period
• $6 per hour after successful completion of probation
