About The Role
As an Associate Services Technician, you will be responsible for effectively managing ITSM tool which encompasses managing multiple queues related to alerting and monitoring within the organization. This role involves monitoring service requests, incidents, and alerts to ensure timely and efficient responses. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks, streamline processes, and enhance overall operational efficiency. You will also get to:
- Maintain organization of multiple queues for effective alerting and monitoring.
- Follow up with team members regarding tickets that are nearing deadlines or have not been updated.
- Escalate alerts based on the defined impact level to ensure timely response and resolution.
- Track and document the status of tickets to ensure accountability and transparency.
- Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate collaboration and information sharing.
- Assist in identifying areas for process improvement related to ticket management and escalation procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree Focusing on IT, Computer Engineering and other related studies, from four-year College or University
- At least 1-2 years of related work experience in a NOC or equivalent environment supporting IT infrastructure which includes administration, support and implementation of servers, networks, databases and storage assets. Remote troubleshooting experience, required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate monitoring and management of queues and alerts.
- Basic Understanding of ITIL Framework: Familiarity with ITIL principles, particularly in incident and service request management.
- Proficiency in Ticketing Systems: Experience with ticketing or issue tracking systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, Zendesk) for managing and tracking service requests and incidents.
- Communication Tools: Familiarity with collaboration and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack, email) for effective interaction with team members.
- Industry recognized certifications. CCNA , Microsoft technology certificates, others.
- Experience supporting or working in an Enterprise and/or Global Managed Services environment.
- Knowledge and experience with cloud technologies (Azure, Google, AWS others.)
