Program Overview

As an Operations Associate in our Operations Trainee Program, you have the rare opportunity to periodically rotate across various operations roles within different functions. This will not only give you holistic exposure to the processes and functions of a fintech company but also equip you with well-rounded foundational skills that are highly valued and transferable to bigger roles as you progress in your career. After a one year period (minimum of 2 rotations, maximum of 3 rotations), your learning, growth, and performance will be evaluated and you will be considered for fast-tracked promotion.

General Responsibilities

Settlements

  • Review and process client transactions, including, but not limited to, fiat, crypto/digital assets, and other financial market transactions, as well as all corporate disbursements.
  • Monitor bank/wallet/account balances of various customer and proprietary accounts to ensure that these are well-funded for regular operational requirements.

Reconciliation & Resolution

  • Reconcile cash balances and crypto/digital asset positions across various products and services of PDAX for validity of transactions and accuracy of amounts.
  • Validate and report balances and transactional records for both customer and proprietary accounts.
  • Perform identification, investigation, escalation, and resolution of reconciliation breaks.

Know-Your-Customer

  • Review and authorize the onboarding of new client relationships by analyzing and ensuring the completeness of the client documentation, conducting enhanced customer due diligence, completing client risk profiles, and processing relationship updates using PDAX KYC tools.
  • Perform periodic reviews of clients’ profiles and refresh documentation, as necessary.
  • Audit clients that have been auto-verified by the system.

Customer Success

  • Provide comprehensive support to clients’ transaction concerns (fiat & crypto). technical issues, claims, as well as BSP complaints.
  • Resolve client account requests (e.g. account unlock, 2FA deactivation, account activation, account information update) and escalate fraud and compromised account concerns to the relevant teams.

Finance

  • Record company transactions, and oversee weekly transaction cycles.
  • Assist in performing month-end closing procedures in accordance with the month-end close checklist.
  • Maintain monthly schedules, disposition discrepancies and/or balances, and record necessary adjusting entries.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Manage customer account cases that are flagged and routed to the Compliance Monitoring team.
  • Review the transaction monitoring system parameters to ensure that alerts are always calibrated.
  • Ensure that CTRs and STRs are properly identified, written, and submitted promptly to the AMLC.
  • Help execute the Enterprise Risk Management framework across the company.

Qualifications

  • Open to fresh graduates or experienced professionals (1 to 2 years).
  • Is self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive, and has a collaborative attitude.
  • Has big-picture thinking, problem-solving, learning agility, and can perform under pressure.
  • Works with attention to detail & accuracy, and has organization and time management skills.
  • Is interested in innovation and change management skills.
  • Effective communicator (oral and written), and has influencing skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
