A Glimpse into Your New Role
As the Associate HR Business Partner for Account Management, you will work in partnership with the business to provide specialist coaching, support, and influence that enable the business to effectively deliver people plans. This role is integral to the success of assigned departments, involving the development of effective working relationships, influencing and challenging the management team, and supporting the achievement of business area and HR strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management
- Work closely with the business to provide specialized coaching, support, and influence for effective delivery of people plans.
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships through proactive business programs and problem resolution.
- Play a key role in the development and delivery of people plans that support business and HR strategies.
Talent Engagement and Retention
- Create an employee-friendly environment to drive the achievement of company goals and ensure employees feel their personal contribution is valued.
- Promote harmonious relationships, camaraderie, and cooperation within the company by organizing activities and events that enhance employee morale.
- Coordinate with production managers to manage employee movements, including promotions, layoffs, transfers, and resignations.
- Conduct exit interviews, employee surveys, and focus group discussions to gather feedback and improve employee engagement.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities to build strong, lasting relationships within the organization.
Employee Relations & Discipline
- Partner with the business to manage employee relations by building management capability in handling ER issues and improving consultation effectiveness.
- Conduct administrative investigations into violations of the Code of Conduct and Good Behavior for both staff and management team members.
- Address employee relations concerns, including counseling and discipline, to ensure proper adherence to company policies.
- Draft Notices to Explain, Notices of Conference, and Notices of Decision, ensuring compliance with the company’s disciplinary process.
- Write email correspondence to relevant department heads regarding disciplinary matters and seek their input on recommended penalties.
- Draft Notices of Preventive Suspension when necessary.
Policy Cascade and Compliance
- Ensure overall compliance with HR solutions and procedures applied within the business unit.
- Identify gaps in existing HR policies and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures.
- Organize orientation sessions and briefings for supervisors and managers on new HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency in understanding and application.
What You’ll Bring
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role, preferably in a BPO or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures, including employee relations and performance management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Experience in handling sensitive employee matters, including investigations and disciplinary actions.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
- A customer-focused mindset and the ability to drive positive employee experiences.
